THE EMOTIONAL CALENDAR Purchased by Times Books
Author and psychiatrist Dr. John Sharp, in collaboration with The Butman Company and Todd Shuster of Zachary Shuster Harmsworth Literary Agency, has successfully sold the North American rights for The Emotional Calendar to Robin Dennis at Times Books, an imprint of Henry Holt & Company. After a year of extensive research led by Dr. Sharp and Janine Liberty, of The Butman Company, The Emotional Calendar will explore the effects of weather, seasonal conditions, and cultural and personal seasonalities on emotional health and behavior. This constitutes a major sale for The Butman Company and, building on previous success in the category of business management, marks the beginning of the company’s expansion into new subject areas. Publication is slated for fall 2010.
